Susannah is an African-American woman, missing her legs from above the knees on down. Edging into her fifties, she's still extremely fit and very beautiful, in a stern way. Her upper body strength, particularly, is impressive, from a lifetime of pushing herself through the world in various wheelchairs.

Her basic personality is intelligent, stoic and self-possessed. She observes the world around her with a keen but not unsympathetic eye; she tends to be inwardly opinionated but inclined to keep her own counsel. Beneath her armor she can be quite tender-hearted. That's one reason for the armor. She's passionate about issues of civil rights and justice.

She dresses simply but quality, and her current wheelchair is a slim-lined titanium green dream, custom-built from a racing chassis to be more functional in the day-to-day. She lives an America not quite identical with our own with her husband (no_exile), in the year 2009. Her daughter (ofthatantet) only recently left home.

Powers and Warnings: Susannah is a born gunslinger, born to fight evil and champion justice, and trained in the traditions of the ancient war-guild of Gilead. Despite her handicap she is as fast and deadly as a snake.

She is also, to a certain extent, insane; she is not alone in her mind. These personalities--Detta, Odetta, Mia--are mostly sleepy these days and content to share power as the unified Susannah-Mio, but she has her phases and she has her moments. Detta in particular can be extremely hostile, especially towards white men, and her language can be a vile and offensive stereotype, in content and delivery.

Susannah comes from Stephen King's Dark Tower series, and I do not own her, nor do I make any profit from playing her in Milliways bar. Her PB is Jada Pinkett, who is probaby too young at this point, but was very appropriate when I originally played her at thirty!
